This course is designed to help students develop a basic understanding of the fundamentals of working with a powerful word processing software program that also gives them the tools to create a variety of professional documents.

BCT080 Microsoft Word Intermediate 2007

This course is designed to help students develop a basic understanding of the fundamentals of working with a powerful word processing software program that also gives them the tools to create a variety of professional documents. This course expands on the concepts learned in BCT075 Microsoft Word Beg 2007 and covers advanced topics in Word.

Prerequisite/Core requisite: BCT075 Microsoft Word Beg 2007

BCT081 Microsoft Word Advanced 2007

This course is designed to help students develop a basic understanding of the fundamentals of working with a powerful word processing software program that also gives them the tools to create a variety of professional documents. BCT055 Microsoft Excel Beginning 2007

This course was designed to give the student the basic knowledge of working with spreadsheet software. The student will be given a foundation to edit, format and manage workbooks.

BCT060 Microsoft Excel Intermediate 2007

This course is a continuation of BCT055 Microsoft Excel Beginning 2007. The student will develop a basic understanding of more advanced topics of working with a spreadsheet. The student will work with functions and statistical tools and working with hyperlinks.

Prerequisite/Core requisite: BCT055 Microsoft Excel Beg 2007

BCT065 Microsoft Excel Advanced 2007

This course is a continuation of BCT060 Microsoft Excel Intermediate 2007. The student will further their knowledge of advanced topics with Excel.

Prerequisite/Core requisite: BCT060 Microsoft Excel Int 2007

BCT040 Microsoft Access Beginning 2007

The student will be able to create and work with database functions. The student will be able to format data as well as work with tables and fields.

BCT045 Microsoft Access Intermediate 2007

The student will be able to create relational databases along with working with queries. The student will also be able to work with forms and reports upon completion.

Prerequisite/Core requisite: BCT040 Microsoft Access Beg 2007

BCT050 Microsoft Access Advanced 2007

The student will be able format forms and reports as well as work with macros. The student will also be able to import objects from other access databases, export to word, merge records to word as well as other advanced topics.

Prerequisite/Core requisite: BCT045 Microsoft Access Int 2007

BCT071 Microsoft PowerPoint Beginning 2007

This course is designed to provide the student basic knowledge of how to utilize PowerPoint which is a desktop presentation program. The student will gain basic knowledge of how to create a presentation and display it as an electronic slide show on any computer.

BCT073 Microsoft PowerPoint Advanced 2007

This course is designed to provide the student basic knowledge of how to utilize PowerPoint which is a desktop presentation program. The student will gain basic knowledge of how to create a presentation and display it as an electronic slide show on any computer.

BCT085 Microsoft Project 2007

This course is designed to provide students the basic knowledge to control and track a project once it has been planned. Utilizing the tools used in Microsoft Project, the student can see every detail of their project simultaneously as they follow its progress.
